Just winging it. I did see a couple of you tube vids and pictures of the pvc roof though. I'm trying to decide what to do about the temperature in it though. I've had this alarm clock that has a little sending unit that will tell you the temp outside that I've been using in my fridge for beer brewing. I stuck it in the greenhouse to tell me in my bedroom what the current temp is. By the way, this clock is pretty sweet. Here is a link to it.

It's been getting to 38-40 at night and 70-80 in the day. My Red and green onion along with the carrots have started to sprout but all of my peppers, tomatoes and others are still taking their sweet time.

I planted these around Nov. 15th so I know they could still pop up anytime but just wondering if I should bring them inside until they sprout. If I do decide to do that though, can I put them back into the greenhouse and keep around the 50s once they start poking through and showing leaves? I bought a little heater last night with a thermostat and it's set around 62-67 but that's just going to be too expensive.

Nice job Zach. Thats a nice looking GH for sure. I'm curious if you've ever grown Bush Goliath before? If so, how was the production? Its looking pretty good.

This is pretty much my first time for everything! The only thing I grew (or tried to) was Jalapenos, Bell Peppers (didn't get one) and an Early Girl I bought from Costco that didn't survive here in the heat. I went to Georgia to visit a buddy of mine for w week and when I came back the fruit had bottom rot. After that I don't think it really ever got the love it deserved and died. I think once it hits about June here I'll call it quits until about September and maybe start some seeds again....just too hot!

The Bush Goliath is been the slowest so far. It had split in two and the bottom so I finally cut one side so we'll see what happens now.

The Big Beef (left) seems to be doing the best with Celebrity right behind it. I noticed little fruits growing on it yesterday. (on right)

Free wood..."things" that have been sitting behind my work for years. They'll make great little grow containers for my green onion and cilantro plus anything else with short roots that doesn't grow too tall.

Tomato cage upgrade. The 4' x 7' piece was $8 at HD. I cut in half rolled them up and now shouldn't have to worry about anything when spring time comes. I bought one more that I cut in half and will make a trellis.

ooooow... your in trouble! I got one of the infamous HOA LETTERS, when my wire tomato cage was 6in above the fence. Your backyard looks like mine in Tucson, till I moved further out in the boonies. Also got one for a new backporch light I installed ..(no direct lighting outside)..
This post is partly tounge in cheek, but also because I hate HOA's.

Great job Zach ! I picked a handful of strawberries a few days ago myself. Its gonna be a few more weeks before my Big Beef ripen up, but they are coming.

First timer huh? Enjoy that fresh mater.....they are hard to come by this time of year !
