Craig, I'm very surprised you hate Bulls Heart's taste. It was always very balanced for me.

I'm surprised at how many people seem to hate Green Zebra. It's not my favorite by any means, but I found it to be good tasting tomato, above average. Maybe it has to grow in the southern heat to taste good or something like that.

I was very disappointed with Matina and Brandywine Cherry the year I grew them. They were pretty huge plants that bore vast amounts of absolutely flavorless tomatoes. We're talking grocery store bland. I've encountered cardboard that had more flavor.

Best Tasting - would be a toss-up between:
Aunt Ruby's German Green
SunGold Cherry
Rose
Brandywine Pink
Cherokee Purple

The only tomato I ever fed freely to chickens was Window Box Roma....hard, mealy, and plain inedible.
My favorites are Saint Pierre, Mortgage Lifters, Dakota Gold and Victor.
It has been about 7 or 8 years since I grew Green Zebra, but I liked it too.
