I'm growing Jaune Flamme again this year (so good!), together with De Colgar Papuo (pink) and Super Snow White (light yellow). The stores around here sell pre-sliced mozzarella cheese logs that are only about 2" in diameter. I'm hoping to use them with the pink, orange, and "white" tomatoes to make some unusual but pretty Caprese salads for summer BBQs. Now I just need to find a lightish green basil. Maybe lettuce-leaf basil would work? And maybe I'll add a little splash of white balsamic vinegar with the olive oil, salt and pepper... Just the thought of it makes my mouth water!

Argh; 10 weeks until I can start tomatoes.

I was actually planning to try it again this year. First time I tried it was 4 years ago I think, had two plants, and both of them were crossed with something else, and worse of all, they were really weird plants that grew strangely and produced really bad.

I am still on the fence if I should waste one of my 11 spots that I have for a high risk tomato.

I would call it a high production high reward tomato.
