We have had a warm dry fall and winter. We finally got 2 inches of rain last weekend. But yesterday it was 88, and today forecast is calling for 92. I hope we have a normal spring.

Forgot to mention that we had thunderstorms last weekend, and all the veterans are telling me "thunder in February, Frost in April."

The male red-winged blackbirds have been back in B-More, singing their off-key songs for two weeks now. They are a truer harbinger of spring than our local robins, who have been hanging out in the woods and (and occasionally our yards) all winter.

Oh, and my snowdrops are blooming!

86° today in my corner of the state. Good grief, I know it's been a crazy winter, but this is unbelievable.
