I bet mas production and popularity ruined the product.
Heck I bet the first Twinkie was even good.
That or we are just getting old and remember something that never was.
No I distinctly remember it being more salty and less vinegary that is what I liked about it.

Dm... the chicken livers were delicious! Probably healthier too considering the amount of oil in the air fryer compared to the usual amount of oil we use in the deep fryer to cook them or even when we pan fry in a cast iron skillet.

Rajun.. I've found several recipes for egg rolls i want to try. My dad loved those red hot links split in half, a slit cut in each end so they didn't curl up in the skillet and fried for breakfast. Too spicy for me!

I can't decide between soup or frittata for supper....

Hotlinks are good cooked to a crispy crunchy skin on the grill or campfire.
My fondest memories are of my dad and I going fishing by ourselves.
He would always buy hotlinks and we would eat them with white bread and cheese.
Every time I eat a hotlink I think of those times we had together by ourselves fishing for catfish.
That is why I love hot links.

(((The Walmart price match ended October 16, 2017 for most Walmart stores.))) All complaints should be phoned in to 1-800-WALMART.

I wish I was joking, but the cashiers even have cards telling them how to respond to complaining customers. Just remember, it's not the employees that changed it for all of us.

I think it was a marketing trick anyway.
I have looked at some stuff they have and found it to be higher than other places and many people dont bother with the price match.
If they do they are still making money.
Many of their items are only sold at Walmart so there is no way to price match.

One thing is for certain Walmart and HEB came into smaller areas and offered stuff that people didn't have access to before at affordable prices.
Many one off grocery stores sold old meat in small towns.

Walmart became a landmark for many small towns across the country for better or worse.
A place from which to give directions from.
Seen it a thousand times.

"Well you go past Walmart and make a left."

In today's retail market if you aren't on line with a website you are going to die or will soon.
Or you have to have some sort of gimmick to get people in on weekends.

Callahan's in Austin has just started to have an online store after all these years.
It isn't the best but it is a start.
Saturdays there is like a zoo literally, they have all manner of farm critters for people to see and pet, plus live music and so on.
The prices are off the charts for many things.
