Default Burpee Seed Sale

On their front page (notified in an email).

B1G1 on seeds and free ship on 3+ packs. Code on from page. Ends 1/14.

Not sure what to try besides some original Yummy seeds.

Thanks for the heads up! I don't usually order through the catalog, but these BOGO deals are great for what I'd like to try.

BOGO from Burpee is not such a great deal unless you buy from them anyhow ... IMO their prices are RIDICULOUS ($4 - $7 per pack). The BOGO deal brings the price back down to what many of the other seed companies sell for.

For my Cylindra beets that I buy every year, $3.19 for 2,000 seeds is w-a-y worth the $$.

Organic Scarlet Nantes carrots, $5.99 for 6,000 seeds. Can't beat that.

I'm fussy about the broccoli that I grow and you can't usually get the kinds I like at my garden stores.

Thanks, Lisa. Some are very good deals.

Yea, as I said, the BOGO brings Burpee closer to their competitor's normal pricing!

Burpee is 1,000 beet seeds per pack for $3.19. With the BOGO, you can get 2 packs (2,000 seeds) for the same price.

100 seeds for $2.29 which is plenty for me for 2 years or 6,000 seeds for $4.95 (if you really love beets that much !)

Burpee is 3,000 carrot seeds per pack for $5.99. With the BOGO, you can get 2 packs (6,000 seeds) for the same price.

I'm happy enough to grow about 4-6 dozen carrots a year, but maybe you really love carrots a whole lot. $1.97 for 180 seeds, $2.75 for 350 seeds (and 18,200 seeds for $7.99)

I'm not seeing any BOGO references on their front page, but am finding free shipping on 4 packs or more.

It's just below the selection menu bar [Vegetables] [Flowers] [etc.]
There is also a blue SHOP NOW button next to it.

Use code GROWSEEDS in your cart to get the BOGO.

I buy for other members in our community garden, which is why we do need lots of seeds.

Has anyone gotten to the point of ordering?

Can they be 4 different packets, or do you buy one and get the same variety free?

Thanks, rhines81. My browser ad blocker was blocking that section. I disabled the ad blocker and voila, it showed up.

I just ordered vegetable and flower seeds, both single and double packets.
I tried to keep the prices close, and they were spot on - spend $4.99 on veggie, deduct $4.99 on flower seeds.

The good is that I got seeds for the whole garden and also to share with a friend. It just amazed me that they would have charged $23+ for shipping/handling. Luckily no tax, no shipping.

Thanks, Lisa

I placed a more modest order but saved a bundle. Yes, I found out by playing that you can mix and match seeds, and it is a good idea to keep the prices even to maximize the savings.

I'll share what I ordered:

Lakota Squash (I requested this from the MMMM swap, and read there are three strains) Hoping to see other variations if any are coming in my envelope.

All Season Romaine Blend

Imperial Star Artichoke (always poor germination so why not try for half off)

Burpee Microgreen Mix

I have another order pending with a good supply of beets as posted above. Anyone finding other good deals to complete the order?

I ordered because I can't get Fourth of July or orange slice hybrid off of a rack.

Honey Delight you can but order it if you a aren't stopping at every store that has a seed rack because they aren't on every seed rack either. It grew fabulously for me last year. I had one in the garden and one in the high tunnel. neither were the 4 oz they claimed them to be. they were a 1.8 oz cherry every one I picked and weighed. they churned through the season until a frost outside or the hard freeze inthe high tunnel. the high tunnel one was a waterfall of foliage until the day it froze.

Just got an email saying the BOGO sale has been extended past the 14th. Not sure for how long. I did order my seeds from here yesterday. This will be my first try at growing my own seedlings.

Just got a coupon from a local nursery I really like to pick any three packs of Burpee seeds for free! Nice. Asking: which ones would you pick?!
