The first time I went to Jamaica was as a kid with the whole family back in the 60's. Back then we amused ourselves playing. And that's when we discovered the little lizards in the yard. The gardener's son taught us how to make nooses out of long grass to catch them. And boy did we catch them. For some reason we couldn't understand why Mum wouldn't let us bring home our new "pets" on the plane!
And then there were the vultures that fly over the yard circling if they thought there was some carion for them to feed on. So we'd all take turns "playing dead" and then wait until they were about 5-10ft above our heads jump up, waving our arms about and screaming. Nothing like watching huge vultures try to backpeddle in mid-air!!! It was hilarious. And our antics had the adults in hysterics. The gardener and his wife, the cook/housekeeper, had never see anything like us. But they didn't mind their kids playing with us. It definitely was looney-tunes....but made for great memories. I can't see a lizard now without remember those times. And they don't bother me at all. Not much freaks me out....although some have startled me by falling down out of tree on me. That made me jump...and then double over laughing.

We used to play dead for the vultures too.
Then when I worked in the oil field the border patrol would circle the rigs looking for undocumented workers. We would take off running through the bushes. Worth |

I made homemade dog biscuits for the first time yesterday, and I think it's going to have to be a regular thing. They were very easy to make, I had everything on hand (oats, peanut butter, whole wheat flour, and water), and the hounds loved them.
Here's the recipe: http://www.dogtreatkitchen.com/peanu...it-recipe.html I made teddy bears, dinosaurs, bats, and a T and a B with the scraps for Toblerone (Toby) and Buttercup.

Hahaha well I love bats and that cutter happened to be a good portion size (the other cookies need to be split between the two dogs since they're fat enough).

I mean, sure, you could, but they're kinda bland The dogs really love them though, they're both peanut butter fiends. They were both sitting there in the kitchen drooling while they were baking in the oven.

I wonder if my aunt's horses would like some of these...horses can have peanut butter, right? I'm thinking of how they got Mr. Ed to talk so it seems like it should be fine?

I like to smear peanut butter on top of a dogs snout and nose and watch them try to lick it off.
I also like to give them empty jars so they can entertain themselves licking it out. Worth |

We do that too. We also have those Kong toys that are hollow and smear peanut butter on the inside of them if we need them to be distracted for a while (i.e. guests, having to leave for a while, car rides). Works even better when they're frozen.

I will put my money where my mouth is.
I keep telling people how easy it is to bend and use conduit for stuff. This shed was bought years ago and the first thing I did was to install lights and electricity. Here is a back to back 90 swapping directions to go to a light switch and duplex receptacle. Worth IMG_20160310_5895.jpg |
