Brutus
I see there is another thread on this tomato but Tapatalk which I'm using to post pics has limited search functions... So I can't find it.
Grew 1 plant from seeds in the last mmmm swap, nice plant! Nice tomatoes! Picked the first 2 today a little early so a coon or opossum doesn't take a bite out of them. One weighs 1# 6oz, the other 1# 4oz and pretty much blemish free. Think I'll save some seeds. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

OK,I just found the thread I was looking for that describes the various Brutuses,or Bruti that I was looking for and I hope it helps clarify,or not,the situation.

That's the thread! Thanks Carolyn.
Like I said I picked them early so I'm not seeing the dark red color yet, going to let them ripen a couple days on the counter. Nor am I seeing heavy ribbing/pleated like in The first photo of the link. Taste test....soon. |

Here a few of mine from last year- seeds from Marsha, I believe. This is a beautiful, ribbed tomato

They look like Beauty Lottringa or Mushroom Basket really nice! Mine aren't so ribbed. I'll slice one open soon. I'm eating Katana hybrids tonight and they are good.
