Is this your own design? It is very nice! You use external shims to support the grow bucket over the support bucket? Do you use anything to make the rolled up cloths rigid?

I have been playing with numerous different designs for over a year and half now....I have another design which I will show latter but it requires 4 buckets but is my favorite....got a good deal on the used buckets....lol....but the spacer slats are survey stakes cut at 6 inches which still gives around 3 US gals water reservoir with 1.5" of air space below the bottom of the top bucket....cheers....

I only used small zip ties on the ends of the rolled 16" x 16" microfiber cloths cut in half for the wicks, no rigid help....they are around 9.5 inches long below the top bucket to reach bottom of reservoir....I tested them in the buckets with a cardboard around the wicks and they took less than 12 hours to moisten the cardboard pieces....cheers....

I am enjoying seeing your tomato plant grow. It should be flowering soon... Your design is great!
Thanks for sharing this wonderful idea.
