You are all going to LOVE Karma Pink!

I am staying with Marsha and tasting as many of her fabulous varieties as I can ☺. Pure Heaven!

Karma Apricot tastes wonderful too, but we will have to wait for it to be released next year.

Thanks to both Karen and Marsha for your hard work in breeding and sharing with us ☺.

Karen and Marsha- I am very excited for my KARMA pink seeds to come. I just want to congratulate you both on such a wonderful cooperative adventure. By letting us all follow you are teaching newbies like me so much. Thank you for that! Your KARMA thread is one of my favorites to follow.

A few questions- I wondered what the difference is between KARMA crimson and KARMA purple? Are they and the purple multiflora both at F5 stage? Have you guys decided on names for the multiflora and the GWR? So many babies to be proud of!

The green and pink bi colour is Karma miracle ( because it’s a one of a kind, against all odds cherry) and looking reasonably stable
The purple multiflora is called that to differentiate it from the purple which is no mf
Crimson is a dark rose colour , darker than the pink but not a black
Not sure yet about the crimson, it turned up as a late seg last year at f5 looking quite different, will need to see what it does. Until stable, the names given are working names that Marsha and I use to label seeds and plants they are subject to change or additions until stable.
KARMA Pink (official final name) has grown true since the F2 with little to no variation so it’s being shared with friends who have followed this thread like yourself as the first release because it is stable. We will keep working on the others, some almost ready, some like crimson not, it needs to be distinctly different from its sisters to get its own permanent place and name so may or may not in the end, time will tell.
So happy so many are choosing to grow it, We look forward to pics and reviews

Congratulations on your project. I love the pictures. Did the cold weather affect your production at all?

Not the production, but the morning fog and cold gave me bad fungus throughout the garden. Thank goodness for Linda(labradors 2) visiting me, she really pitched in to help me trim off and bag diseased leaves, so I could spray. What a job!

Default Happy day!

The seeds arrived today! I'm really looking forward to growing Karma Pink. Thank you Marsha and Karen for all the effort that's gone into breeding a brand new variety. I've decided to grow it in my small greenhouse - not wanting to take a chance on another dismal season outside. I'll certainly report back on how it does.
