Favorite low/moderate heat (<= 1000 scoville) varieties

Mine so far are Beaver Dam, Black Hungarian, and an unlabeled seasoning type that someone sent me a couple of years ago.

I particularly like Beaver Dam because it works so well as a stuffer.

Alma Paprika usually gets just enough heat, to be my favorite fresh eating pepper. Last year it stayed milder, but previously was perfect....Super crunchy and beautiful....
Romanian and Trinidad Seasoning are good too....
Beaver Dam has looked enticing for sometime...However, I have seeds for Georgia Flame this year, and hope it is not super hot...

I like just about any poblano/ancho pepper they have more flavor than any bell and great for stuffing and a nice addition to stews and soups.
You have to be careful though some are rather mild and others are hotter than a charcoal grill on the 4th of July.

I hope to see more posts on this thread. I have only tried Anaheim and it was had tons of BER. I have Georgia Flame to try next year also. I saw that Beaver Dam is on sale at TT, so I may give it a try. Black Hungarian looks very pretty in the pictures that I've seen, but I thought it had a lot of heat. I may have to try it sometime too. I think I need to move out to the country so I have more space to try out all of the different vegetable varieties. Everyone keeps recommending these all these great varieties!
