Cubed up pork roast skin and all.
One chopped mean onion.
Garlic.
Hot pepper oil and flakes.
Habanero sauce.
Dark soy sauce the thick stuff.
Hungarian hot paprika a bunch.
Salt.
Black pepper.
Powdered mustard.
Garlic.
Horse radish.
Ginger.
Five spice powder.
For those that dont know what it is.
It is.
Star anise.
Clove.
Cinnamon.
Fennel.
Pepper.

Plus I added.
Turmeric.
Marjoram.
A big pile of chopped up Swiss chard from the garden stems and all.
Basmati rice on the side.
The smell is killing me and it tastes great too.
Not hot enough yet.
One of those what the devil am I going to eat things again.

Thanks, Worth. The soup looks good too! I could eat soup of any kind all year long. I don't trim pork fat either for soups, I give it a good stir and ladle me up big bowl!

Worth, there must be something in the Texas air? I came in from putting hail damage sheets over the tomato cages to put the defrosting meat in the fridge.

I'm cooking it tomorrow while it's supposed to be raining/hail.

I've heard that all my life...where do we redeem these points and for what? I'm hoping it's for cashola. A good brisket would work too.

The soup I made yesterday will be eaten tonight.
I had to eat out today at Whatabuger because I was busy working here at the house this morning and didn't have time to fix my lunch.

For a fast food place it isn't bad at all.
The folks come around and ask if you need a refill and offer condiments from a tray.
Whataburger is a Texas based burger place.
Food isn't half bad I had the double meat no cheese sweet tea and fries for 7 bucks.

Have you tried the fish sandwich (WhatACatch) at Whataburger? Yummy, with a rather spicy "tartar sauce". Dang thing keeps calling to me (along with the fries).

Try the Monterey Melt. You may never order anything else..

Just got back from the store and so I cheated and got some sushi there- a yummy roll( I don't care much for the nori). I really do love the slices of pickled ginger, I save it for last as a treat.

Later, as I am tired and too full to do it now, will macerate some of the blackberries and will have blackberry shortcake tomorrow.

I used the term macerate at work one time and got the strangest response from people.
I was asked what I was doing and I told them I was macerating blueberries.
Your WHAT.
They had never heard of anything like that in their life.

It does sound rather fearful and mysterious, yes?! Only way I fix strawberries ( or most any berry) for shortcake as I don't like the glazes at all. Sort of like the phrase "frost your grapes"!

My husband told me to macerate was to destroy something, lol. I said not when you're talking berries.

I had a cold pint of my home canned beans and leftover rice for lunch.
Got a strange look from the guy eating with me.

I guess you could call my diet today a misbalanced one

Breakfast was Bran/Fiber cereal with cut up strawberries.

Lunch will be 2 Chilidogs with cheese, onions, and sweet relish. Not hungry.

Dinner is pork soup with onions, carrots, potatoes, peppers, and tomatoes. I cooked it with 2 bouillon cubes but no added salt. (It needs salt!)
