Okay let me get this straight.
You just sat down to a steak and take a bite.
All of a sudden you get a treble hook slammed into your mouth and you are dragged outside into the yard.
I would be a little ticked off too.

Yeah, that sounds about right. He was loving the crappie rib cage and wouldn't give it up. At least I didn't reach in my pocket and introduce him to the taste of .380 and check to see if he had all 7 types of meat. Maybe next time!

We made Asian food tonight. Homemade shrimp eggrolls are so much better than the ones at local Asian places.

Made some small shells and used some more pesto for them, also part of a pork steak. I'm full as an ol' tick.

Homemade mushroom soup and a side dish I thought was good but I won't make it with okra again. We were gifted more okra so I thought I would try a different way to cook it. even hubby did not like it in this dish, but the dish is great otherwise.

Onions, yellow squash, italian diced tomatoes and okra. So, next time I will make it without the okra.

Left last nights carnitas out in the spicy chili lard.
Came home from work heated it up nice and hot and took out the carnitas.
Diced some fresh potato and am cooking them in the lard.
My cardiologist is looking at a new car.
CDC is coming by to investigate my digestive system to see why I'm not dead yet.

I cooked fried shrimp and French fries for dinner. I remember when shrimp was not cheap eating. That five dollar 14 oz. bag of shrimp made three meals for us.

It's hot and humid, and I am hurting too much today, so we made soft tacos for dinner.

I'm thawing out some of the giant lasagna I made some time ago.
Forgot all about it.

I haven't cooked. I am alone tonight and don't want to cook. I keep looking at the refrigerator and can't find anything I want to cook. So much food to cook and I am uninspired. I'll be making some carnitas tomorrow so I am heading to the grocery store to pick up a couple of things. Maybe I'll buy a pre-made salad or something there.
