tomato in Wall o water verse 3 foot snow drift
I put a tomato plant outside a week ago in a wall of water. It is under the snow but the top of it is held closed. I shall report the results of this wow extreme tomato test when the snow melts.

Is that a collapsed wall or water or a snow angel behind a chicken wire fence?
Maybe you can get another photo in better focus. Good luck with that refrigerated tomato plant. PV |

the wall water is supported by tomato cage. so i will not have worry about it falling over. I check on it after the snow melts. I don't want to disturb the blacket snow keeping the plant warm.

DUDE!
Snow ain't keepin it warm!!! You need the sun to hit the plastic to "solarize" the area within the W.O.W.! I got money that says that thing looks like frozen lettuce right about now!

snow
The snow CAN be much colder than 32 degrees.
It was 19 degrees at my house this morning but 60 degrees under the plastic over my lettuce patch. If I left it covered with snow my lettuce wouldn't be 6" tall, it would be flat and slimy from frozen cell walls. Nuf said.... we'll see the picts after the melt off. Just my 0.02
