Default Muskrat Love

I'm traveling this week and woke up to a text from my wife telling me that the muskrat that lives in the lake behind us had gotten into the garden and gorged himself last night. Not good news to wake up to.

About 10 minutes later she texted me again to tell me that not only did the rat get into the garden but that he ate so much that he got stuck trying to get back out through the chain link fence around the garden and was now turtle food.

Its amazing how bad news can sometimes turn into news that makes you smile all day long once the whole story is known.

I am waiting for a cold snap and there will be a few less critters around my place.
Rabbit.
Deer and tree chickens.
They will all go in the frying pan.
I might leave the rabbits alone.

I have some kind of critter in my garden that likes to move vegetables around, but not eat them. I placed some early ripe cucumbers on the ground beneath the vines to allow the seeds to harden before I harvest the seed. Something picked a cucumber up and moved it to the other side of the garden. It had tooth marks on it, but I can't identify the marks. The same thing happened with a couple of tomatoes i laid on the soil intending to pick the up the following day. I have a four foot tall hog wire fence around my garden and larger animals can't get through the wire mesh. I'm sure the critter must be climbing over the fence. My first thought was a racoon, but coons usually eat the veggies. They don't just move them around.

I stopped dating a girl because she like that group.
No common ground what so ever but we knew each other for a long time so it wasn't like a break up or anything.

Wrong line of thinking Worth. You should have dressed like the Captain and she would have went wild

That really wouldn't work out.

He'd only able to rent the outfit, and date her on one night of the year, October 31st.

I bet you hate the Carpenters, too.

Question your priorities.
