Yes he does. And it is another fine product of Wisconsin!

Righand, you have done a great job getting your plants going this year. The cuc's look good and just look at those tomatoes! If all goes well, you should have a great season. Did you leave any plants indoors? How is the basil?

Really nice production! Forgive my ignorance, but why do you have more than 2 buckets stacked for your SIP system? I don't see any irrigation system. Do you hand water?

I use 4 buckets total per unit.....the 2 middle buckets are cut short for spacers.....the reservoir in the bottom bucket is around 3 US gals....fill tube is on top....

Well you sure had a very successful season. I'm drooling over those beautiful Brandywine's sitting there. A BLT looks to be had. The plants still look very healthy and productive. You have done a wonderful job.

2 lbs 11 oz is nothing to sneeze at, especially in Canada. That is a big'un. Next year if you want to out-do yourself, try just growing one fused blossomed fruit to a single plant. In other words, cull to only one fruit per plant that is the result of a pollinated fused blossom.

Thanks for posting your results!

Default Best idea award

Righand,
I have to comment on your microfibre idea. You are a genius. I've read too many links and comments ,trying to find something to use for better wicking in my containers. The regular EB style is ok, but the soupy bottom gives me a bad feeling. But your towel design is just what I have been looking for. When I saw it ,a lightbulb went on in my brain. I have to thank you for sharing your idea and showing your great tomatoes. Awesome tomatoes, actually.
Aloha,
Tom
