Two gallons seems huge. I have a few pots that size, and will certainly try a few at least. After growing sunflowers in trade size gallon pots in 95 degree weather, anything else should seem easy, at least I hope.

I'm seeing "mum pan" pots in 8.25" x 5" and 9" x 6.5" The volume of the 8" mum pan is only three quarts? Hummert has 288 of them for $90.

I can also get a 9 x 6 x 7 pot, 100 of them for $60. That may be a better option.
