Thanks, ricman!

I am really happy with the way my mini white cucumbers are going in their earthtainer. Definitely the best (read most disease free) start I ever had for cukes.

I finally have some little guys in the garden.

Romanesco Squash, beginnings of a female flower

Baby Lime Green Salad Tomato!

I expect to see many more cropping up this week as all of the tomato plants are flowering profusely.

I'm also looking forward to my first garlic scape as I saw a few beginning to poke out this morning. Cheers!

Just a quick update from this weekend.

I am seeing more greenies set and a few are beginning to size up (like the Rosella Purple pictured below)

The anticipation is killing me!

Also my French Fingerlings have decided to flower. I hope that's a good sign

We had our first meal that had some components from the garden last night.

Grilled Chicken Parm with Cinnamon Basil and Grilled Garlic Scapes!

Haha...thanks Charley.

I harvested some more of our Black Seeded Simpson lettuce yesterday. I am surprised is has not bolted as of yet (but I'm not complaining!) I am really liking this variety for both production and taste and will surely replant next spring

I also harvested the first of my Shi★★★★o peppers. They were totally worth the hype and I look forward to many more over the coming season.

Below is our dinner last night. Grilled salmon and Shi★★★★o peppers on Greek salad (with the BSS lettuce). Sadly the tomatoes and cucumbers are not mine, but there are many greenies promising that harvest is not too far away!

I hope everyone has a great weekend. Cheers!

The garden is really starting to ramp up now. I am trying to be patient with the greenies, but it is proving very difficult!

Blush tomato

Sungold (setting TONS of trusses as usual)

Sweet Linda (I think she might win the race for first blush!)

Sweet Sue

Siberian Giant Pink

Lime Green Salad (more tomatoes than plant...haha)

Peppers are looking good as well. Hopefully I can start my batch of fermented hot sauce soon.

Aji Omnicolor

Jimmy Nardello

Kamo eggplant is finally setting fruit

Mini White Cucumber looks like it is going to be a BIG producer

I am super excited for these Negronne figs!

The potatoes are huge...It's getting tough to keep them watered

I harvested the one head of Killarney Red that did not seem effected by white rot. I hope my Slumona garlic harvest goes a little better.

And finally my harvest pic from yesterday. My first Cosmos squash and some mini white cukes.

Cheers!

I harvested my first Romanesco squash yesterday, along with another Cosmos squash (yellow).

Those went into a saute along with some herbs to serve alongside a grilled honey mustard turkey tenderloin. The squash (particularly the Cosmos) was nutty and delicious! I hope they end up to be productive as well

Amazing photos of garden, produce AND your yummy dishes Kelli!

I will be following your potato growing method and hopefully use it next year to grow some potatoes. (those white cukes look nice too)

Thanks, tnkrer! I am looking forward to seeing how the potato experiment turned out soon!

I hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend. I'm starting to get some ripe peppers, eggplant, and tomatoes so I am looking forward to sampling a bunch this week.

Peppers are looking very good this year so far:

Jimmy Nardello loading up

Shi★★★★o

First Fish pepper!

Zolotistyi

Cheiro Roxa (this plant has the most gorgeous purple foliage, pic does not do it justice!)

Starting to get a few tomatoes turning!

Rosella Purple

Sungold

Lime Green Salad (can't wait to try this one)

Black Cherry mega cluster

Going to get to try my first Kamo eggplant tonight!

And finally my first batch of fermented Kosher dills. The mini white cukes really turned out to be a great candidate for this. They stayed super crunchy

Cheers!

It's a good thing that I already ate my dinner. Your plants and meals look amazing and are still making me hungry.

If you keep posting pictures of these great looking meals, I am going to have to start asking for your recipes.
