Default Fuzzy Wuzzy

Seed for this plant came to me in a large trade I did with someone from Belgium last winter. I couldn't find out much about it, but here it is. A compact determinant plant with frosty-fuzzy foliage (I think it gets red striped fruit). It looks like I might get knee high. I think it would be suited for a flower/landscaping garden as well as a vegetable garden. Unfortunately, deer don't mind the fuzz.

I grew Fuzzy Wuzzy last year. It's really an eyecatcher (plant and fruits). Fruits were red/yellow striped, but sorry to say, the taste was nothing special. I don't re-grow it this year.

Hi Soren, Nice to see you here.

Update: as clara said, the fruits were red with a gold stripes, large cherry sized, round with a point-nipple on the end. Flavor not memorable.

I crossed this with a multiflora dwarf hybrid (Lime Green Salad X unknown black). I'm hoping to get something that looks like a frosted Christmas tree.

I'm growing a couple of F1s now with immature fruit on them and [as expected] the plants are not dwarf, and only a little fuzzy. Hopefully I can get seeds early enough in the season to do some F2 growouts this summer. That is where the segregation should show up.
