That I don't have a problem with, per se. They must make dandy pots. But all this fooling around with wick watering seems more like onanism than a solution to a problem. When they get dry pull out the hose! Dump water in tub. Go watch TV.

And I agree with Worth. Plants need good airflow 24/7.
