I dunno... this wasn't even my first one, but my first giant perfect one. My 'spare' garden space is just about perfect though, all the mushroom compost tilled in and full sun from about 9 am. onwards. I credit the space I think. That garden is getting ready to bury us in tomatoes I think.

I honestly cannot complain.

As I might have mentioned before, I staggered my planting so I would still be going strong in October. I planted some much earlier than past years and others about the same time. Then I even had some straglers I put in pots that are much smaller but doing well also. They should provide tomatoes late too.

My back garden is almost all sun all day. There's a bunch of tomatoes in there. It's going to be one of those things that we are waiting, waiting, waiting and then it will be BONANZA!....First a counter full and then a dining room table full. I love that!

Side garden isn't far behind either so all is good!

I should have a Wild Fred in a few days!

Mmm, that looks so delicious!

I keep seeing everyone with ripened fruit, when I just noticed one today with a faint blush all the rest are greenies. What date did you plant out Tam?

I planted some beginning of May, stragglers went in June 15th.

Glad you enjoyed your first BLT, Tam! Today I enjoyed an open-faced tomato sandwich on a buttered, toasted onion bagel with melted cheddar...just yummy! I love this time of year!

We're in the same boat. Mine are getting close. I'm a mile from Tam91 and I also planted some earlier in May.
Like I said, once they start coming, it will be pretty steady!

It looks absolutely fabulous, I am so happy for you!

We are still far away from any large ripe tomatoes. Only had 2 weeks of nice warm weather here so far.

I planted out May 12. I'm just getting a few, but they're getting ready to explode I think.

Oh, I enjoyed it SO much! Lovely nice thick bacon, toasted bread...mmmmmm....

I hope you all will get yours very soon too.

Chocolate Beefsteak today, but I would have used any beefsteak.
