Crane fly?

Could be a winter crane fly! We get swarms of them here, they're a bit bigger than the local mosquitoes and have sort of bizarre dance parties where they fly up and down, up and down in a swarm. Glad they don't bite.

Check out the Eastern Crane Fly, we have that one too and it's much bigger than a skeeter and just amazing looking.

Yup... mosquito. I found 2 of them sucking on my legs when I walked out of my tomato patch and they're multiplying fast. Tomatos dont care but these blood suckers are eating me alive
I picked up 2 citronella plants and set them right next to my tomatos

I think it's a Mayfly. They look like giant mosquitos, but they don't bite. The adult phase life span is only about a day or two. They are sometimes called dayflies.
