Wessell’s purple pride (RL, paste tomato crossed with Cherokee purple). Wispy droopy foliage, similar to heart tomatoes.

Brandywine Black is next to Cherokee Purple. As you can see BB is straggling, only top leaves are still green. I keep on removing infected leaves, few days later there we are. CP looks much better.

I am giving a second chance to a Big Rainbow tomato. Last year it got sick to soon. Most of the plant die, only one side shoot remained and produced only 1 small tomato, it did taste good. That is why I am giving it second chance. This year it is better, not perfect. I am hoping to get few. I have 4 green tomatoes on it. Maybe another grafting candidate.

Ella,
Your tomatoes look wonderful and very productive! What are you going to do with all those tomatoes?? Carbon is also my favorite black tomato -- it's always productive and the taste is the best of the blacks to me. Lyn |

Grew Golden Cherokee Last Year. It was healthy up to September. Produced many big tomatoes, the biggest was 1 pound 12 ounces. This one has few branches removed already. It may not like location.

Hege German Pink does not look good. After taking picture, I removed few branches, the two that remain have green leaves but for how long? I hope to be able to get something from it.
btw it is in a bed that is one of the newest. My son dug a 3 feet by 12 feet hole that I filled with garden soil. Some times I think that soil was contaminated with diseases or something was wrong with it. This year I added some good fungus, some fish (yep real thing, bunker), epsom salt, and some other things. I shoveled it to mix better with the soil that was original to NJ on the bottom of the bed. I think so far tomatoes in that bed look better that last year. But it is too soon to say.
