Bean problem

Ive noticed a foliage issue on my Dragons Tongue beans. The same problem showed up with blue lake last year and I pulled them and planted tendercrop in their place. No problems with that variety. I am wondering if this is some sort of blight and what to do about it. The soil has been kept pretty moist, maybe moreso than needed. Any ideas?

Is it wind burn? I would not pull just yet.

Not sure, I dont plan to pull them unless I find information that leads me to. I just remember the same situation with the blue lakes last year and I pulled them probably too early. I plan to let the soil dry more in between waterings as I may have overdone it some.

When I over watered my Blue Lake they seem to have a root rot at the base last year. Yours really look good really.

Whatever it is sure isnt hurting their growth, they have really taken off this past week. I may have too many in the 7x3 bed. 84 plants total staggered planting

In today's picture, both plantings look very healthy. I'd wait and see if they outgrow it. I hope they do well for you. I know some of you are big Dragon Tongue fans.

My first time growing the variety, wanted to see what all the fuss is about. They do look pretty healthy overall and I only removed about 4 or 5 leaves with bad spots. Noticed the soil is still moist even with the heat today so Im leaning towards too much moisture. I hope they do well and thanks.

84 plants is a tiny bit crowded. 7 x 3 I count 5 rows of 12 plants or 62. Might be fine.
