Default SoCal (Temcula) Nursery Garden

Here are the plants they're growing for their August tomato tasting. Everything is in 15 gallon or 5 gallon black pots. There are over 100 plants (~60 varieties) in all. I'm going to supplement theirs with some of my own and so we may have as many as 80 varieties in all.

Speckled Roman

Lemon Boy

Lime Green Salad (~20 plants)

Where in Temecula is that? Just curious as I was born and raised there...Those are some great looking tomato plants!

It's Wine Country Flower Farm on Rancho California Rd, a little east of Miramonte Vineyard. I think they've only been in business a few years.

chris, does david know when in August the tasting will be? Can't be the weekend of the 24/25. They have the plants covered this year instead of out in the open. That must help with the blazing sun.

Here's a shot of last year's tomato tasting. Check out the fabulous flowers.

Not sure how that ended up so small...

Here's a bigger one with chris, janie (materlvr), steve, and me.

There's an outside chance it'll be August 12th or 13th. More likely it'll be the 26th or 27th or the first Saturday in September. It all depends on how the plants are doing. We'll probably decide in early July.

Whatever that weekend is around August 26 (?) is NORCATT. Try to steer around that if you can so I can come.
