This may seem like a jackass comment by me but there are several threads going on about container mix and what to use.
If I were the thread starter I would be so confused I wouldn't know what to do.
So I have after several days of thought decided not to give my opinion on those threads.

No body has to do what I do but at least dont knock it till you have.
What I use is MG natures care raised bed soil.
There is no real soil/dirt in this stuff.
I use about 2 parts MG to one part perlite and that is it.
Another brand I use is the Kellog's stuff, dont remember which one.
These are the only two I have experimented with in the no drain holes tubs.
If a person reads this and goes off and uses another mix and it fails dont burn my house down.
I am not a big MG fan and I dont get kick backs from them.
But I simply cannot stand behind what I am doing if the recipe uses something else all fancy and complected.
Most of the time I like to keep things very simple.

I have big cans at the ready just in case.
An no they aren't sulking in the cold they are growing big time because the big tubs with black sides are collecting heat and storing it in the soil.

Thank you.

I might and I mean might just have some volunteer ghost pepper seeds from last year sprouting.

Nice, healthy looking plants with flowers already. We still have snow. Jealous!

Thanks everyone.
Probably going to pinch a few growing shoots from the bottom because I have several plants in the containers.
Need to make room for growth from each plant.
If the one big bloom sets I will probably pinch it too.
I have seen what effect a tomato on a small plant can do towards overall growth and production of the plant.
Time will tell.

The pepper patch seems to have a small forest of ghost peppers sprouting up in the container.

Worth, you missed a pepper but they don't want you to run out of sauce.
Tomatoes looking great btw. They're as big as my chinese cabbage indoors under lights.
