woo! the 3 in paper towels and plastic bag treatment are looking a tad moldy, but the ones I planted outside almost 2 weeks ago, 2 of 3 broke the soil!!!

mmmmm vegetable tree... soon!

I got them from Ebay actually. the address says US, but it came from India. took a little while, and since I hadnt gotten it, he sent me a new package (and i paid him when the 2nd came!!

Maybe I can post some pics soon...
Ive got 2 little trees in a pot. I pinched 3 leaves and ate them today. Just a bit of green/planty taste, not bitter.

they have the thinnest most ephemeral seeming leaves, I guess thats how they survive in the desert is to have a high evaporative surface?

I just posted a question asking if anyone knew anything about this. After reading an interesting article about it, I thought it would be neat to try growing it. How did you do? I'm not sure it would be warm enough here in Oregon to grow it, but would love to try.

Last year got away from me... i got married and my dad spent months in the hospital and a nursing home!

but, the one moringa tree somehow lived in its quart sized pot. didnt get big but made leaves. they are OK tasting raw. Didnt get much farther than munching a few. Didnt seem to have any pests. This year I have 2 planters (3-4 gal) and ill clip to the strongest if I have both seeds in a pot come up!

Growing both Moring Oleifera and Moringa Stenopetala in 15 gal pots. Plants have broke the surface and produced sets of leaves, flavor is fairly unremarkable, can't wait for flowers and seedpods! I'll keep you updated.
