Thanks Hellmanns!
If I can come close to the yields you are hitting with big beef in your tunnels, I will make some good coin.

Thanks Ricky. My goal is to have a tomato to eat on my birthday over Memorial Day weekend! A fitting way to hit 40 I think! My Black Beauty has buds about to open. I'll post pics tomorrow after work.
I'm still admiring in my mind the pics I saw of your pepper seedlings I saw the other day in the thread about flora nova. Never seen nicer pepper seedlings. Funny thing, about 12 years ago I was pepper crazy like I am with tomatoes now. I remember growing 24 varieties of hot peppers that year and put at least one of each into my hot pepper relish.
Somewhere along the way life got busy and I slacked off on veggie gardening in general. Just got back into it seriously about 5 years ago. Starting to get the urge to go back to some peppers.
Always do the greens because you can't beat fresh lettuce for dinner right off the plant. Also always do sweet/regular potatoes and broccoli cause I like them and grow them well.

Thanks Wildcat. I'm pretty pleased for 5 weeks from sowing seed.
Sowed my main crop this past Monday. In four days, about 60% are up , 20% are cracking the surface, and the other 20% we'll see. But I do sow about 10% more than I need to account for duds.

Thanks Ricky.
I am a little puzzled by the size and shape of the Black Beauty. I wonder if it has the wilt gene. It is a fuzzy stemmed sucker too. But is the only one that has buds. Can't wait to see it fruit and taste it!
