toothache herb?

Does anybody have any experience with this herb?

I have those bushes growing on the back side of my place, (I Think)
I have looked the thing up and they are native to where I live and it looks just like the ones I have.
Does anyone want me to send them some for a test.?

I have prickly ash bushes here. They have these awful thorns but they do numb your mouth in a hurry. I don't know if that's what you're talking about but I know these things do work for that purpose. I can try to dig one up if you need one.
