Yup, should end up a rich orangy yellow when ripe. Are you growing the F6? I'll be waiting to hear if the taste is as good as your other greenhouse dwarfs so far.

F-6 Dwarf Blazing Beauty I picked today. Its very orange. 6 3/4 oz, 190 grams. Will taste it tomorrow and save seed.

Beryl Beauty - appropriately green. Blazing Beauty looks appropriately orange. Actually they all look fine - anxiously awaiting tasting test!

I ask that Michael because our sunshine hours this summer have been less than normal for this time of year,the Jade beauty's ive got growing at the moment the fruit's got less blush this season than compared to other years,don't know if thats the reason or not,Jade and Beryl are very similar in colourings

Agreed - even in Raleigh, later fruit, more ripe fruit show more blush. In general, I've seen more blush on Beryl Beauty than Jade Beauty.

I have noticed in colder winters where my sunlight was diminished, that the coloration and taste were definitely affected. But this winter has been pretty mild except for one 2 day very cold, snowy period.

Its 19 c here right now at noon, the greenhouse is 86 degrees-30c-so its very toasty inside and sunny.

I'm even finding it hard picking when the Jade's are ripe at the moment.
I'm sure its sunshine hours related and not temp as the three Jade plants are inside my tunnelhouse were it was 33C,91F inside and 27C outside,today was sunny but thats after 4 cloudy days.Even though there's no blush the taste is still good thats the main thing.
