Planting asprin

I remember reading somewhere about adding aspirin when planting tomatoes. Anyone do this?

I've just read this in a book but it was about spraying the tomato plants with an aspirin solution once a month to improve the taste.
Honestly I've never tried it...

I have seen videos on you tube that say it helps the tomatoes resist disease by stimulating their immune system. I would google it.
