One tree several long 1 yr shoots to prune off. THe old Beurre Bosc, my fav, is showing a few buds that might grow this year BUT nothing to prune for scions. The top needs to be cut off---if I can talk DH into climbing a ladder to cut this off, scions might be there, and tree would put more energy into the lower half of the tree. ( this is a branch that toook over the leader.)
