Default Up and GROWING

My seedlings are doing their thing. Planted one week ago today and up for the most part except for the slo-polks. It looks like the sun god will be smiling on us for another day in Germany. Ami

Ami, Thanks for posting! The styrofoam under the trays gives me a solution to my "lack of planning" here. I like the ABC idea as well.

Styrofoam be my height adjusters for the trays plus keeps them from getting cold feet. I also set a sheet of styrofoam in the front to reflect the light back in but removed it for the photo shoot. Ami

Barbee, thats the way I keep track of them. Got them listed alpha-numeric on my excel spreadsheet and when I transplant them to the 4" CowPots I use the same designation, ie A4 for African Queen. Ami

I'm impressed!
I plant a full cell pack of the variety. Then I write the name of the maters on that cell pack and flop a marker in there just to be safe. Then they're just thrown together all willy nilly. When I pot them up, I write the variety on the cup.
Your way would be much less chance of a mix up.

Funny, Ami, I'm using nearly the same method than you for tracking my seedlings, but no excel spreadsheet. I simply use rasters fitting for each single tray. It wasn't much work to compose them.
