Default What A Surprise!?

A 10-year study comparing organic tomatoes with those grown conventionally suggests that organic food is healthier for people.

It would be interesting to read the entire research as to methodology and comparisons. If the non-organic tomatoes were factory or greenhouse grown and the organics came from a small well tended organic plot, the same results probably would be evident between the store-boughts and tomatoes from my non-organic garden. Is that some of our tax money in action?

May be I am just ignorant about this kind of things:

I think there should be some distinction in the following:

1. All organic as per legal definition.
2. All chemical everything.
3. Using all organic fertilizers only and non-organic using chemical pesticides and fungicides.

I think there is a vast population using the third method.

I think I am in a fourth group, that uses organic when possible and chemical when necessary. I suppose there are different degrees of "necessary" though, depending on your objectives.
