100 - 150 tomato plants
30 - 60 pepper plants I usually start and graft around 3 to 4 times that many tomato plants and give away the extras. This year I am cutting back a good bit but will try to graft as many as I can because I love hearing from people how much they love the heirlooms that cannot be grown in our area without grafting. I made the executive decision to rebuild my beds, so I'm going to end up with less linear space to put things. Even so, I anticipate 36 plants in the ground, maybe 48, depending on how I do the spacing.
