Any 2008 taste reports on PPP x PP "C"? Ted, Denise, anyone else?

All, no taste report as all the fruit is developing large vertical cracks from the stem joint before ripening and the fruit rots as it gets ripe. Also the exterior of the tomato gets scale like and rough. Don't know what to make of it. All the fruit are doing this on the plant. Ami

Almost there, I love the way these ones colour up - beautiful - this is PPP x PP "E". Hopefully will have taste test results by October 1

Managed to get two plants from last of original seed - PPP X PP "D" is looking good too

They do look beautiful and if they taste the way they look you got a winner. Ami

Lovely D! Great that you have kept working on these while the seeds are still viable. Oct 1st is here already

Well, PPP x PP "E" just didn't have it the first one of this batch I have been disappointed with. Taste was flat, one dimensional. Anyhoo, here's a pic - and I've got the "D" to go - tomato sandwich here I come (although not quite the same as eating one in August!!)

That's a shame, because it sure looks beautiful, as well as juicy and meaty!
