It's cold my feet are wet and I am hungry.
Here is what I made today.

It may not look like much but it is.
2 chicken thighs cut up.
2 of my homemade smoke Knackwurst cut up
1 28 oz can of chefs cut cento tomatoes.
4 tablespoons paprika no make that 5.\
1 teaspoon garlic powder.
1 teaspoon dry mustard.
A pinch of turmeric.
A pinch of salt.
A pinch of Cardamom
4 cups of water.
2 cups of jasmine rice.
Put the spices in first let simmer for a wee bit and then add the meat and rice cover and cook for about 20 minutes or until ready.

I was reading a book where the hero was eating a plate of tomatoes and rice in Prague and I was starving.
I have been wanting this for three days now.

Pinto beans are the first thing I ever planted. It was in Spring of 1970 and I was about to turn 5 years old. My mother was cooking beans for dinner and I bugged her into giving me some to plant. I planted them beside the house and they grew and produced.

Nothing to report today other than the plants are growing so fast two of them ran across the yard while I was mowing the lawn.

I had to stop, chase them down and replant them, I didn't have my phone on me so I couldn't take a picture.

I also have to volunteer tomato plants coming up and I know one of them is a Cherokee Purple because I planted some seeds there.
I'm sure the slugs will get them.

Time for a beer or two and watch the end of this most beautiful day.

Seems like a beer or two has already transpired...

Snail traps working nicely.
Half pint jars sunk in the garden with beer in them.

Ahhhhhhhhh....death by beer! Such an ignoble death....lol But better the beer than your maters and other plants.

I assume you don't bother using the beer afterwards.

Salt if you can figure out a way to email beer we will get rich.
I got the beer tonight and I am whipped.
I had to remove the deck from my mower and unwrap a cable I thought I had put up.
While I was at it I decided to sharpen the blades.

Working my tail off outside all day and coming in to fix supper and wash dishes is just about to take it out of me.

Tired going to bring weed whacker in and hit the hay.
Two yards mine and my neighbor ladies, she will be 83 next month.

Finally someone got their act together and made a beer to fit my personality.
It has a nice fruity flavor too, another one of my fine attributes.
