First Anna Russian over 1lb
Got my first Anna Russian over 1lb.
I don't know exactly how much it weights because it easily bottomed out my 16oz kitchen scale. The others weighed in around 8 or 9 ounces. I'm a tomato noob so even getting the Anna Russian plants this far growing from seeds was a big accomplishment for me. |

Very nice. I had some German Red Strawberry tomatoes this year that weighed over 1 1/2 lbs. Not so big last year. You never know.

Very impressive. I have been growing those on and off for 10 years and haven`t grown any over a pound.I have two plants in this year and one should give me some nice ones but the other plant only has a couple on it. All still green.

At the end of the season don't forget that Anna Russian makes the BEST fried green tomatoes!

I LOVE Anna! She is so beautiful and tasty too. I'm glad not to have any real whoppers though because I wouldn't know what to do with them! I'd probably have to can them.
