Very nice garden! It's pretty darn big! I'm jealous of your space. How big is the potato area and how much do you usually get from it?

Very nice garden. What's growing under the hoops? And how many onions do you think you have there?

Thanks for all of the kind remarks! I don't sell any produce, I grow for the family, friends and neighbors. I put down newspaper first and make it wet so it stays in place, then place potato pieces or whole if small on top of news paper cover with about 5 inches of straw and fertilize, when potato plants grow about 10 -12 inches above straw I put on another 5 inches of straw. It is easy to harvest new potato's and no cuts in potato's from harvesting.

under the hoops are my gooseberries, red and white currants. There are 8 varieties of onions, probably around 750-800 onions.

Boy that reminds me, I have to pick my red currants.
Loudog, beautiful garden. Lots of work you had to put into this garden. Great idea with potatoes.
White currants, do they taste different than red once? I remember eating ripe gooseberries in my grandma garden (in Ukraine, Crimea). Here in US not too many people are growing them.
