Default black krim ripeness

How dark are black krims? Seems last year they were pretty dark. Checked the one turning, and it was fairly soft, medium pink with dark green shoulders. After 105 not counting dew pt and humidity, maybe it is just 'baked'. Had it not been soft, I would have left it for another couple of days. Piegirl

Again, I don't know if it's typical or I'm misinterpreting what I saw, but my Cherokee Purples were pinkish when I pulled them from the vine. But after a few days indoors, they developed the purple color.

Bully - mine looked (past tense) just like that including the cracks. It did darken just overnight. Shared with a friend at lunch. She had never seen a black tomato but thought it was great and it was - just hope the plant keeps pumping 'em out. Heat wave broke today, loads of flowers ready to open. Piegirl

bully,

But you're growing the other "classics" like Cherokee Purple, Carbon, maybe even a Japanese Triefle (?) ?
