Mark as always just wonderful, here's hoping this year will be as great for you as last year was.
From what I can tell so far it will be.

Great looking plants. Really, I've never seen anything consistently like it.

Is it even earlier than last year for you?

Still using pro-mix?
What are you feeding them? and feeding schedule? I want to do the same for my fall tomatoes. Imitation is the best form of flattery. lol

I've never heard a tomato referred to as a slab. That's an old fishing term.
That is one honker crop you have.

Thanks, we are working hard doing several experiments this year, we just planted several early season varieties outside in the garden for a side by side comparison to see how some perform.

Hey Barb, I still use pro mix, and these were grown until recently with Flora Nova and with Cal-mag as a supplement. I use the fertilizer every time I water, CM too. We also water twice a day, it's expensive but they grow like dandelions. I have switched to a 4-18-38 and supplement with Calcium Nitrate and Magnesium Sulfate

We measured two tomatoes tonight, and both are over 23 inches, the non fused tomato is absolutely stunning to look at, I have never had one do that.

For late season goodies, I have ate ripe Stump, and a ripe Delicious, we have Fred Limbaugh blushing, and German Queen. GQ is looking like it is going to have a a huge yield, and the tomatoes are all large and pretty overall, now I hope they just taste good.
Take care ya all

My german queen produced some really good tasting tomatoes that were huge. I hope they taste as good for you as they did for me.

Thanks Mark; I'm going to buy the Flora products and try it on a limited basis - maybe 5 plants. Flora looks expensive but according to the docs; it doesn't use much; I think 1.5 teaspoons per gallon of water.

Is the "4-18-38" a dry mix or liquid? - If dry, do you have to top dress it or haven't your plants needed it again/yet.
