What Are You Doing Here

Was checking out my seedlings and found this strolling down the top of one of my seed-trays. Still have snow on the ground and the temps are in the low 30's to high 20's. Ami

I gather you don't have Asian beetles around your place. We are infested with the things here. I won't go into the why and how they got here, that may well be considered a political rant. But I have them in my house all winter. I vacuum them up everytime I see one.
Of course yours could just be a nice little lady bug.

jungseed, a lady bug it is. Thats what is so surprising. Must have overwintered in the house. Ami

Check closely between the head and the orange colored wings and if you see an M or a W, depending on the way you look at it, you have a drad-blasted, good for nothing Asian Beetle that mimics a lady bug. Just hope you don't have an infestation of mimics.

Boy we have for the past ten years had an infestation of Asian Beetles. A local forestry group whose name i wont call brought them in to "help control the Japaneese beetle and pine borer numbers" hog wash I would rather have Japaneese beetles any day. They get into your home in droves and during late fall i vaccum two or three times a day......
