Great! Here's what I have to munch on so far.
I am making black bean hummus and I ordered a turkey wrap and also a sandwich platter, and bought a veggie platter too. I have flavored unsweetened sparkling water, and diet green tea, plus water to drink.
Bennett made a salad with corn, tomatoes and black beans.
MY plants are ready and practically begging to go.

You have me sorely tempted to visit Florida and tell my family it was for Thanksgiving.

Wonderful ,wonderful time with Marsha and all the other gardening friends who came!!! Thanks so very much for hosting this event! You did a wonderful job and everything looked great.
thankyou for the very kind donation of extra plants to our community garden. Will post pictures very soon of the planted plants.
Can't wait to meet up in St,Petersburg in March, let's all keep in touch until then.
Should we start a thread for that ?
Anyone wanting to come check out Antioch Organic Community Garden we are only 1 hour from St.Petersburg and 20 minutes from Tampa.Just give me a P.M.

Marsha, thanks much for opening your house for the event, for the food, and hundreds of tomato plants you have grown to give away. We had a lot of fun in Plantation .

So the next, which I guess is the tasting, will be in St Petersburg? If so that is just a little north of me and way doable.... I'll meet yall there, I'm thinking it will be on the weekend?

Wow,
It was wonderful.
We had I think about 35 to 50 people total some stayed the whole time, some came and then left later.
Here are pictures of the event.

You can see most of the hundreds of seedlings in some of the photos, they were put on top of our hottub cover. I am the one with the dark hair and the fuchsia pink top on.
Many people brought delicious homemade treats.
We had a master gardener there from South Africa, she was a font of information, as was Gardenhappy, who had wonderful organic recipes for fish emulsion and organic pesticide made from boiling a pepper and adding some things.
NEw friendships were formed.
What do you all think will be a good Saturday in March to do the tasting, and do the Orlando and east central Florida folks think they would attend a tasting located in St.Pete?

Well Easter will be March 31,2013 So what if we meet the 2nd Saturday of March.
That way we will not get into family times the week before Easter.
The first Saturday I have Childrens meeting at the community gardens

March 9th 2013 is the second saturday and works great for us.How about everyone else?
