Golden Delight
Huge shout out to this variety. Finally grew out this old seed from 12 years ago or so when I was a SSE member. It is early, prolific, medium sized, beautiful and most importantly very good flavor....almost orange when ripe . People in the north or short season areas who like yellow tomatoes need these in your life! I have grown hundreds of varieties and these just made my top 10.

Sounds good! I'll give it a try. Here's a description from the "World Tomato Society":
Compact determinate plants up to 3′ high produce heavy yields of 5-8 oz. , 2-3″, flattened, golden-yellow globes that are juicy and sweet. Low acid. Excellent flavor. Said to be a good tomato for people who have trouble with digesting the acid in red tomatoes. Steve |

Are they fruity or are they tomatoey?
There are two flavor profiles for yellow it seems, those that if you closed your eyes you wouldn't know it is not a red tomato, and those that are... fruity. I like the fruity ones. I've been working on a yellow breeding project looking for a medium sized fruity determinate.. grew out five F2s this season, only one fruity, one nice determinate but it wasn't fruity. Maybe you can save me the trouble? |

I would describe it as mildly fruity. I grow plenty of reds and always enjoy a few yellows/oranges for a different taste. I had forgotten the original description and was expecting saladette size. These are prolific and most over 6 oz. Good texture . They are not tart like Azoychka but comparable to Dina, Woodle Orange or Nebraska Wedding only more productive and suited to my climate. Sorry I am not good on flavor descriptions, but they are nice.
