Raised Garden

I put some boards around my garden this year to clean it up around the sides, i had some bore bugs last year they came from dirt 5 ft out of this garden. I hope the boards will stop them this year. I did see them flying around like year, now i know about them. Anyone do this before? Only Tomatoes plats and Herbs in here.

2-3 week before plant are in here, i put Compost, Lime, and
