Heritage.....Bonsall, huh? Fallbrook/Bonsall is one of my most favorite areas with about the best US climate.

Yes, I do all my Calif. growing in hoophouses and hot houses and grow primarily for seed
and seedlings. I take well started seedlings to Canada for a head start on a short season
and those are for eating enjoyment and sharing with others in the wilderness. I grow most everything there that I have seed for so we can do our own taste tests. The logistics of this technique gets complicated in that the move is in late April, so all the maters have to
go into the motels as well as us. I transport in the big, clear plastic bins with air holes drill in them a placed on their sides for about
an 18" growth area. 24 per bin (3) and then two shallower bins for 5" seedlings of which lots are giveaways once there and en route.
I will grow about 65 or so on floating docks in 5 and 7 gal. buckets. Obviously, I never attended one of the state agricultural colleges.

Good for you! That's a real dedication for eating fresh tomatoes.
