Hi Carol, Sending you hugs! I got a package of your seeds from a gardenweb friend and went to check out your site. I wonder at times if I have a thyroid issue too cus I get depress so quickly. Take care and enjoy your vacation at the beach. I use to love the beach, calm and tranquil but life nowadays feels like a tailspin.

Take care Carol!!!

Ditto what he said!
Depression is a vicious, life-sucking disease, period. Enjoy that vacation, and don't worry about seeds. I know I want to place an order with y'all. If I plant then this year or next, either way is good with me!

I have bad thyroid also but my blood labs do not show it and my DR will not prescribe. All my kids have been on thyroid meds since they were young adults. I have nodules on my thyroid, am hoarse, have many other symptoms. Once a year my ins send me to a specialist and the plan is always watch and wait.

I am glad you are taking meds and improving. Also, you are still grieving the loss of your Mom which likely added to the depression. I hope you will be healthy and blessed in 2015!

Hi Carol, It's great to see you posting again. You and your hubby have that down to earth attitude that I so much appreciate. Hope to see you at the local farmers market again this spring. Try to keep a positive attitude and continue getting healthier.

Default Knapps Fresh Vegies Seeds

Carol, glad to hear things might be looking up. Your seeds site was my favorite for one-stop-shopping for old the not-so-popular varieties.

My brother in-law struggled with health issues for a long time and saw a lot of doctors before finally seeing one who diagnosed him with Hashimoto's Disease. Since he started treatment it has transformed his life. His daughter was also tested and diagnosed with it, and now that hers is being treated all her health issues have also been resolved.

Best of luck with the new treatment, and enjoy the beach!

Carol: I hope you are able to resolve the issues regarding your health. It must be very frustrating finding a doctor who has the expertise in treating your symptoms. Most belong to clinics and I know that many of them are given a certain number of minutes to care for each patient. They are rated on the number of patients they see, etc. And in some cases, salary is tied to performance criteria as determined by the clinic. These things do not guarantee that you will get the best of care. So, here's hoping that this new year will find your health improving. Looking forward to hearing more from you. Enjoy the beach!

Hi Gang,

The trip was wonderful, even tho the beach at Puerto Vallarta isn't nearly as nice as in Cancun. About the only issues was that both of us came home with a stomach bug. We must have eaten something "off" 1 of the last days. Or the change of weather got us. It had been dry and 75-85 until the last 2.5 days when it started raining and the temp dropped to the 60s.

I had hoped to have my site back up and all the old orders out by now. But it's been slower than I had hoped. Some days it seems like 2 steps forward, 1 step back.

We were going to do seed packing out in the greenhouse where there is more room (for now). But it's been too cold and gray to be out there. So we are cleaning up a spare bedroom in the house to make enough room to do it there. I think by the end of the week I should have at least some of the smaller orders ready for the mail. At least I hope so.

I don't know if I will get the web site back up or not. Just depends on how I'm doing after taking care of "old business".

Thanks for being friends,
Carol
