What Coucher de Soleil (Sunset) tomato should look like?
I just wonder what/how Coucher de Soleil (Sunset) should look like? Type, weight, color? Indeterminate or determinate? Would appreciate pictures if you have one. Thanks.

What I see is: Color, rose/red and is pointed indet fruit weight 100-150 gms and there are about 460 or so gms in a pound so that's about large cherry sized Production good. French to English translation of Soleil http://www.collinsdictionary.com/dic...english/soleil From the above: le soleil couchant, the setting sun A big round bicolor as you posted above? Doesn't look like that from what I see/read. Carolyn

So please read the post above this one since she said she got a BIG round Bicolor from a local market and that's not what your link indicated at all. Again, please see my post above this one. Thanks, Carolyn

I had Coucher de Soleil 2 years ago (seeds from France) and it corresponded absolutely to the description on ventmarin. It was a red saladette, not a cherry, and NOT bicolor at all.
http://ventmarin.free.fr/passion_tom..._de_soleil.htm But all my fruits had no yellow, green or whatever shoulders, they were completely red. |
