Interesting old pump not a style i have seen before. There is a name on the handle which would have a story to tell if one could read it.

I cannot imagine using any one of those implements Henry. My first thought was it would take a mighty huge pair of belgian horses for the Amish to use that "thing".

A steam engine would likely have been the power for this one the horse ones are much lighter. From the photos on line that I have found it may have been made by the [Austin MFG Co. Chicago]

those rear wheels are something else. Was there a purpose to why theyre made that way ?

Went back to the original picture and found that it looks like the body says Pfender Bros and the handle says Sanitary. Your picture of the Fageol tractor is awesome. It looks like a farm version of a 32' Ford. Makes me want to buy one when i finally get some land.

Bower that image came out perfect in black and white. It looks amazing. The pump in my picture is not made of wood but old galvanized steel
