Yikes! How many do you keep? I grew about the same number of toms, but I'm planting 67 and the rest go to family & friends.

only about 9 toms lol and 3 peppers, the rest i give away, lol said i wasn't going to do it again but i did, last year i had 14 plants in RGGS and was a bit too crowded , so going with 8 and 1 in ground. can't help it if i get 99.9 % germination, and can't toss any out! lol---tom

yes the neighbors get a few, along with kids and my sister, then i bring all the rest to the U.P. of Mi. for people up there, might even have a space to plant more for me up there, they said they would watch them while i wasn't there, (think that means , they'll eat them for me! )---lol -tom

You are worse then me! I kept 50 out of 250. Last year I said I was not going to keep all those extras. Bit it is so difficult to throw out small plants.

I have trouble throwing out any. For example, I had a helmet head and I pulled the head off. Rather than throw it away, I decided to see what would happen. After many days, voila! leaves began to appear and then more. My question was answered and my patience rewarded. It's also a volunteer. Jon ![]() |

I know exactly what you mean. I'll provide several friends and neighbors of tomato and pepper plants. Next year I 'll do better... I hope
